Processing: Natural EA decaffeination. Dried on parabolic drying beds.


La Serrania is grown by approximately 50 farmers along the central cordillera of the Colombian Andes; through Pitalito, Acevedo, Palestina, Timaná, and Suaza.


It is decaffeinated naturally at origin by soaking the coffee with sugar cane and mountain water.  The caffeine is extracted by ethyl acetate naturally occurring in the sugar cane.  This process removes up to 99.7% of the caffeine.


La Serrania is a really good coffee. It is rich and complex. It has notes of chocolate, banana, strawberry, and tropical fruit.  


Don’t let the caffeine, or lack of it, get in the way of a beautiful cup.


We roast this coffee as required. Mainly Wednesday.
